The European IT Service Center Foundation, Inc. (EITSC), an affiliate of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and an active partner in human capacity building of the IT/BPO sector located in Manila, Philippines, is pleased to announce that it will conduct the workshop -

In this connection, we would like to invite your company professionals  and staffs at all levels to attend this comprehensive two-day seminar-workshop. The core of this workshop is for participants to essentially learn how to communicate confidently and clearly with clients, colleagues, and other business associates using professional and correct English in oral as well as written forms on a daily basis. Facilitating this workshop is Ms. Lilet La Vina, a seasoned member of EITSC's faculty whose expertise is on communication and people skills. 

Training investment for this course is Five Thousand Two Hundred Pesos only (PhP5,200.00). Early bird registrants (those who will be able to register by February 5, 2008, Friday) are entitled to a 10% discount from the regular registration fee or will only pay PhP4,680.00.

These are general rules of behavior worldwide and not specific to the Philippines by any means. This is a brief list of what I have heard dumb (drunk?) guys getting in trouble for here in Manila. Here ya go...

1. Open container (alcohol) in a trike.
2. Open container in the street.
3. Flicking a cigarette butt (littering).
4. Smoking in a Taxi or Jeepney.
5. Fighting.
6. Urinating in Public.

If you are a recurring reader you probably do not come here for our witty writing or musings on current events or business in the Philippines. Until now, this blog has primarily served us by generating leads for our various business endeavors through SEO.

Who is PI Outsource? We are a group of just over ten people serving currently serving small clients in the USA. We are owned by Americans, one in the USA and one primarily in the Philippines. Together the partners manage a network of over 50 websites. We are a profitable company with solid management and a plan for growth the includes using skilled Filipino labor to help us achieve our growth plans. The blog is written by me. I am not funny, not a good speller, not really even a good writer!

We would like to wish all of our friends a happy New Year! May you all prosper in 2008. 

As you know, the new year is for changes and resolutions. We are going to make changes at PI Outsource. First off we are going to open up the comments section of our blog. We will see how long that lasts, fighting spam can be overwhelming. We will see how it goes! So flame away, or just say hi when ever you feel like chiming in.

Since I am not a good writer, in 2008 I plan to turn this into more of a "Philippines Video Blog". I will do short "uncut" interviews with all sorts of people that you will find interesting. That is my pledge, I just thought of it, so give me a few days for the first "Outsourcing in the Philippines" Vol I Video Blog Thinger.
