Job Description

MISSION

To support Global Procurement and ensure quality, cost-efficient and timely procurement while minimizing contractual and other business risks for the Company.  He/She partners with the business to understand sourcing needs and to establish and drive cost savings targets; sources, approves, manages and evaluates vendors/suppliers, and builds good, ethically sound working relationship with them; negotiates contracts/agreements and maintains them in the Contracts Management System; and manages Key Performance Indicators <x{(}>(KPI) and metrics.   The Global Procurement Manager also participates in the development and implementation of procurement policies and monitors compliance therewith.  He/She also ensures compliance with contractual obligations/commitments, laws and regulations.

SCORECARD

a)      Enforces Global and ESI Purchasing Policies and Guidelines to achieve Corporate Purchasing & BU goals/objectives. 

b)      Negotiates low risk-high return deals with suppliers, in accordance with ADP Legal and Purchasing Policies.

c)       Ensures policies rolled out by Global and ESI Purchasing are implemented complied with.

d)      Implements the necessary systems, processes and procedures in order to manage all purchasing activities.

e)      Manages relationship with suppliers and negotiates best terms and conditions thru Bid processes.

f)       Coordinates with Legal Team/Consultant to ensure that contractual obligations minimize risks to the Company.

g)      Drives supplier accreditation, selection and approval process.

h)      Manages contracts with vendors and maintains these contracts in the Contracts Management System <x{(}>(Corporate tool), according to Global and ESI policy.

i)        Manages the Global Procurement Team and ensures that everyone in the Team executes the assigned tasks efficiently and effectively in a timely manner.

j)        Create metrics, scorecards  and key performance indicators in accordance with the SLAs with Global Procurement.  

k)      Executes performance reviews, deals with personnel issues, identifies training, etc. as needed.

l)        Defines local purchasing policies and tools if not specified by Global or ESI Purchasing.

m)    Ensures local vendor contracts are in sync with Global and ESI vendor contracts when applicable.

 

COMPETENCY

a)      Graduate of any four <x{(}>(4) year course

b)      Minimum of five <x{(}>(5) years experience in a related capacity/same environment

c)       Ability to generate and implement strategic initiatives with a view to reduce spend and number of vendors while minimizing the risks for ADP

d)      Strong skills in supplier negotiations and vendor contract management

e)      Strong skills in people management

f)       Ability to disseminate new Purchasing policies, procedures and tools throughout the Business Unit

g)      Proficient in database management, excel and power point

h)      Trustworthy and with strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

REPORTING

Reports directly to the Financial Controller.
